who is shock by the mens usa team won the bronze in the gymnastics this morning (their time) last night (ours)

They should have gotten the silver, but wow I am sooo happy for them! NO ONE thought they would even medal! But they put their heart out and got something in return!!

There was nothing wrong with team India yesterday. It was just that they were new to the pitch. The Barbados ground had a lot of bounce in it and so it took them time to adjust. however, after adjustment, they only gave 23 runs in the last four overs or so. this shows that there was nothing wrong with the bowlers but it took time for adjustment. as far as score is concerned, yes, the score of 185 was chaseable. but the batsman of india adopted wrong shot selection in the first few overs and lost wickets. the australian bowlers specially dirk nannes and tait bowled extremely well and used the bounce of the pitch. once the top order went down, the middle order played game under pressure and India lost its wicket. But the innings of rohit sharma of 79* was remarkable. He was playing a one man stand game as he did not get any support from the other end. Well, its still not over. India still has 2 more to go, but it will have to win these two and must maintain a good net run rate also if it wants to go in the semis..

Do you mean shocked in a good way? Because that was wayyy better than anyone thought they would do. After the Hamm twins dropped out, they weren't supposed to even make the final group of 8. So that was a great accomplishment for them!

I'm not shocked...I knew they were fired up to get a medal...I just didn't know if they would get the silver or bronze.

I think that if they were clean on pommel they would have taken the silver...but they did a grrrrreat job and they made Dominique Dawes choke on her words.

I am not shocked that they got bronze. I felt they deserved silver. I was surprised the were in top 3 because they were not favored to medal at all.

Yes, I was really impressed!!!! Especially since in the qualifying round, they finished in 6th place......I wasn't expecting much more than 4th or 5th place last night.

It was fun to watch too...so close to getting the silver medal!!! But they did a great job, can't wait to see the women compete tonight!!!

They did really good. There routines where amazing. Go USA.

I hope the women do good too.(Hopefully Gold)

actually, not much. they were ok. But, i'm pretty sure the USA Women's Gymnastics will be much better tonight! hopefully, they'll take home the gold!! :]

i was very surprised but very happy bc none of the u.s. guys had any olympics experience

I'm not, did you see their performances? ech. Especially the floor and pommel horse.

edit- did you guys not see them stepping out of bounds even while standing still doing nothing??
