How did The Host by Stephenie Meyer end?

u should have finished the book...it was really kind of boring in the beginning, but it got exciting in the end. well, eventually, everyone accepts wanda, even jared. kyle tries 2 kill her, but doesn't succeed. she ends up going on raids with the guys and they almost get caught, but since she's a soul, the seekers let her go. and jamie and jared kidnapped another soul and since wanda told them how to safely remove souls from human bodies (that was the secret she was supposed 2 keep, even if tortured...i thought it would be bigger than that) they removed the soul from the kidnapped body and sent it to another planet, then they put wanda into it. and then they live happily ever after. jared gets melanie and her body, and ian gets wanda, and her body.

I loved The Host! I cried at the end of it! I mean, I was bawling! haha. It was really good, but still not as good as Twilight. The first 100 pages were really hard to read because I go so confused and it was boring, but that it go really good. Stephenie Meyer is currently working on Midnight Sun and it's going to be the only book from Edward's point of view. Also, Stephenie has talked about turning The Host into a trilogy, so she'll probably be working on that after Midnight Sun gets released.

Wanda has Doc remove her from Melanie's body. The humans preserve Wanda's soul, and then Melanie and Jared go to a city. They find another soul inside of a human's body; they remove the soul, and they insert Wanda's into the body.

They escape the Seekers, of course. Wanda helps the humans by going into town and getting medicals supplies and things like that. She also tells them how they can remove implanted souls. They start removing them and sending the souls to other planets that had already been assimilated.

Wanda gets taken out of Melanie, thinking that she'll die because she doesn't want to take over another person's life. Because they've grown to love her though, they put her in the body of a human who'd been implanted so early that she had no recoverable personality. Then she and Ian (I think that's his name) can be together.

Sorry you didn't like the book. I loved it!

Well Wanda found a new body and Melanie got her own back and of course, Wanda and Ian fell in love. Then they found a way to get souls out of humans so they both stay alive and they were doing it to everyone they found. Then they met another human clan :)

I agree - the story was very hard to get into, but it had a really good ending - just keep reading it! I know it's hard and it's a lot different than the Twilight Saga, but just keep going! It's worth it!
