I just couldn't finish it because I didn't really like it, but I'd still like to know if Melanie escapes Wanda and anything else vital. I read up to where the Seekers located them and her boyfriend still didn't trust her. How did this book end? Thanks!

The first 7 chapters were awesome, but it really seemed like she became a slave to the publishing company after that. I'm curious if anyone else was disappointed in the final book of Twilight? By the way- I LOVE THE FIRST THREE BOOKS !!!!

If a colleague agrees to be a reference then gets all psycho on you, are they legally bound to say positive things as long as your work is satisfactory- putting aside personal matters. I feel nervous that I put some bad references! Administrators, what is your take plese?

I am a new teacher to my district (HS level). A teacher is out on leave and the suband I don't get along. I am a travelling position and am only there in the AM . The Replacement, when I am at my other school, complains about me to colleagues. She says untrue things about our interactions The talk gets back to the main Admin. She has brought situations to my attention. We evn met as a3some to no resolve. When I try to explain what has actually happened, I am viewed as having "attitude". So, I began "yessing" alot. I notice the other teachers excluding me from gift collections and events and am concerned about my job. She leaves in 3 days & the regular teacher returns. As an administrator, how can I change a false impression of my personaility to my Admin. I am excellent at what I teach. That I know, but I absolutely feel a difference in treatment. Is it too late to be seen for who I really am or are my teaching successes enough? I am very sincere and looking for advice.

I teach an elective subject and was explaining that when I was in HS I once got in trouble for asking an English teacher if we could see a version of a play rather than read it for hw.The class mistook my info as me saying I was 'in trouble" in school a lot, which I think sends a bad message and provides a poor role model. Any feelings on this. I'd like to address it on Mon. and set he record straight. The class is full of girls who look up to me and I don't want to give them a bad idea or have their parents think I am giving bad "coaching". Should I return to the subject or let it die?
