Jeans or leggings? Which do you prefer?
People were thinking leggings would die out this year, but they seem to be going stronger than ever. I was wondering if leggings would ever become so popular that it would become a "permanent" staple of fashion like jeans are -- where people wear them almost every day and it transcends all age groups of people for decades. I know a chick that wears leggings almost every day, and her jeans have taken a backseat. She wore leggings for almost 2 weeks straight last month. Most were black leggings, but she had a pair of blue leggings and a pair of patterned leggings. I don't understand it.
If you had to be stuck with wearing jeans or leggings for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

Leggings kind of remind me of gaucho pants-- they are really cool now, but they will eventually die out.
Everyone used to wear gaucho pants-- and a few weeks ago I pulled out my old ones... ewww! Not flattering at all.
However, leggings are a little more flattering than gaucho pants. I think they might have a little more staying power-- but not like jeans.

In my opinion leggings are much more comfortable than jeans especially in summer if you prefer to cover your legs.
