Jeans or leggings? Which do you prefer?
People were thinking leggings would die out this year, but they seem to be going stronger than ever. I was wondering if leggings would ever become so popular that it would become a "permanent" staple of fashion like jeans are -- where people wear them almost every day and it transcends all age groups of people for decades. I know a chick that wears leggings almost every day, and her jeans have taken a backseat. She wore leggings for almost 2 weeks straight last month. Most were black leggings, but she had a pair of blue leggings and a pair of patterned leggings. I don't understand it.
If you had to be stuck with wearing jeans or leggings for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

Jeans. Definantly. I've never really cared or liked leggings. Way too retro.

jeans have always been and will remain to be a fashion staple
leggings only came back a few years ago . like 2 now.
I really dont like them very much i think people wear them unecessarily. Maybe its because im a dancer and always had to wear leggings, even when they were out of of style. its just i seem them SO over used and it looks horrible in a lot of situations

Jeans!
Jeans are casual. Jeans are elegant. Jeans are flirty. Jeans are tight. Jeans are loose. Jeans are classic. Jeans are ALWAYS in style.
Leggings, not so much.
Leggings had their hay-day in the 80s...and again today. Leggings are nice. But you cannot wear leggings to a mature party. You cannot wear leggings in a "fat" phase. But you can wear jeans.
Also, leggings are already out of style. 2006...

Jeans, they hide the cellulite or fat in your thighs better than leggings would. Leggings just show every imperfection your thighs have. And no I do not think that they are going to EVER be like jeans. Do you see guys wearing leggings?

i like them both. and no, leggings wont ever become as popular as jeans. its like skinny jeans i guess. skinny jeans are really in and everyone thought that they would be out. but everyone keeps wearing them. and i love them, a lof more than leggings :). haha but anyways, skinny jeans will probably be in for a few years, and same with leggings. but fashion repeats itself, so way later on after people stop wearing leggings, they will come back in fashion again.

i would chose jeans. i agree with the people that think leggings will die out by the end of the year.

I think I'd stick with jeans. I don't really like leggings all that much.

i would pick jeans bc they are more comfortable.
and no they wouldnt become a fashion staple bc only girls wear leggings and that wont make it all popular if only the girls wore it.
