An MP3 CD is a CD which instead of holding Redbook CD-audio (Google that!), holds compressed MP3 files in a CD-ROM computer-formatted disc. Studios don't issue discs with MP3s because they'll sound worse and have very limited compatibility. Plus, most artists can squeeze their album into a 74 minute runtime. The only disc of this sort you'll find online is often-shoddy bootlegs of things you could just download online but that are out of print and "rare" by pre-Internet standards.
Basically, I think you're confused.
