how to correct eye vision?

Is there any way to correct bad distance vision without using lasix? Would eye exercises work?

What should I do?

Unfortunately there isn't anyway to permanently improve nearsightedness (blurred distance vision) other than laser surgery or implants.

Your eyesight is determined by the size and shape of your eye. Your cornea (front of your eye) focuses light into your eye and it should land on your retina for a clear image. For nearsighted people, though, the cornea is too strong for the length of the eye, and the light focuses in front of the retina, causing blurred vision. This is why no food, vitamin, or exercise can improve your vision--they can't change the size and shape of your eye.

Glasses and contacts help focus the light onto your retina, giving you clear vision while you wear them. Laser surgery will reshape your cornea to focus the light correctly.

Any exercises where you follow an object around with your eyes will just workout your extraocular muscles--the small muscles around your eye that let you move your eyeball. They don't have anything to do with your eyesight, though.

Other exercises, like the Bates Method or See Clearly Method, are based on a totally different understanding of how eyesight works that is not accepted by the majority of optometrists and ophthalmologists.

(Not all eye exercises are scams, though. They can help children with eye turns or people who have problems using their eyes together.)

There are a number of other eye exercises and natural improvements you could find out there, and they probably won't hurt if you'd like to try them. Just don't be surprised if you don't notice any improvement.

I suggest wearing your glasses or contacts until your eyes have stabilized. Then laser surgery may be an option for you. Good luck.
