Is This a Cyber Attack?

I encountered several answers with postings to a link

answers-video.com

There was no video just a popup that was blocked by the software on my PC. Has anyone seen this link or know what is happening?

Yes, it is a spam attempt to infect multiple users. See the thread below from the Answers Suggestion Board, YA are addressing it with help from members.

I clicked on it, and it showed the portal for a video, and said I needed to install a codec for it (not likely...). Wouldn't let me cancel, but it wasn't difficult to back out of it. My alarms didn't go off, but that could just mean I stopped it before it got in...

I would probably report it and let the Yahoo! staff sort it out...

its not a cyber attack but it doesn't mean that it don't have any virus that can be transferred from the internet to your computer. Most of the time, those pop ups have viruses attached to them..
