Do the AP and Yahoo news still do spell/grammar checks on their articles?

Please read this article, you can see the multiple obvious gramatical errors. More than 2 times in the article it refers to a female gymnast as a man.

    There are a number of automatic checks in place (spell-checking) but there is no automatic check available for gender pronoun agreement. Usually news agencies such as the AP are under extreme time pressures to get things out as soon as possible, which means that there are sometimes errors that don't get pointed out until after the article is first sent out. Usually errors are corrected within a few minutes, though.
