Themes for my sons 1st birthday party?

I have an idea on the cake and theme, but not completely sure. What themes have you used or would you use? Also would this cake be fine for a 1st birthday or do you think its for a older child?

it is the first bday i know u r excited and want ur son to have the best in life, but why give him such a bog party theme right now? he won't even remember it

don't make it a theme, just some simple decorations for the people u invited and yes that cake is definitely for an older child wait until he is like 5-8 years old.

if u really didn't care about my advice and u really want a theme u should go 4 WALL-E from disney's pixar it is such a good kids movie

That is an amazing cake.and i think he would love it, exspecially when he gets older and see's pictures, and sports would be and great thing. My 1 year old party didn't have a theme, but a zoo theme would be great, clowns are creepy, but no one know your son better then you and i think you picked a great cake and have a great theme, exspecially if it was like a pool partay. Since he is 1 years it would be awesome if he had his own small cake that he could dig his hands into and eat by himself. I had one and so did all of my brothers and it is so cute and special, exspecially if you only do it for his 1st year. So I love you idea, you could do zoo's, and give your kid his own cake. I think you are already a great mom for giving him this cake and party. Good luck!

My sons 1st Bday party as well as his baptism is in 2 weeks and we are decorating with a simple blue theme that says 1st bday party! His cake is beautiful, the bottom of the cake looks like a present wrapped in blue ribbon and the top is a round cake w/blue dots with a cross on top. The bottom is meant to signify his bday and the top his baptism. :)

the cake is cute it does look like it is for an older child but if you like it go for it. i have girls and for my oldest one 1st b-day i had a regular cake for family and for her smash cake i had a 3-D stand up bear cake ( that was my first cake too) hers was a bit more fancy mine was just a bear hers had a pink dress on and lots of pretty flowers. For her 2nd b-day she had a care bear cake plus a mexican tres lechee cake ( my husband is mexican so we always have a mexican cake and a traditional cake) for her 3rd she had a 3 tier castle cake complete with little cupcake princesses ( took me 15 hours to make but worth it) dont know what we are doing this year yet. For a boy i like animals jungle, farm or like a circus theme or even curios george. just go look around till you see something that catches your or your sons eye

My son's theme was 1st bday/fun to be 1..lots of blue.

Cute cake. I actually didn't want a lot of leftover cake so I got a cupcake cake instead...construction theme. It was too cute...and delicious!

I think the zoo is a cute idea. You can dress him up as a lion or something lol. I do think the cake is meant for a kid a but older.

    Good Luck
