Is Lou Dobbs of CNN an Independent or a closeted Republican?

I have watched him for some time, and he seemed to be more inclined towards Hillary in the past (although it was not overtly obvious). There is little doubt however that he does not like Obama much, but I would also have to add that, in the past, he had very few good words to say about McCain.

I don't know what rock you've been under but Lou Dobbs has slammed the Bush administration and the Republican party on a daily basis for years. Apparently you haven't watched Lou Dobbs until recently or you would make ignorant statements about him being a republican. Also, Dobbs "knocks" Obama because Obama offers nothing to working class Americans.

Dobbs is NOT an independent as he claims. He's an absolute republican who has jumped on the "I hate Bush" bandwagon - even Sen. McCain has distanced himself from Bush.

Dobbs used to be a republican before he recently became an "independent". He has no guts to claim he's a republican since that seems to be the way the wind is blowing right now.

He should go back to working on space.com.

Maybe Mr. Dobbs finds more to knock with obama than he does with McCain.

Libertarians are just the extreme edge of the Republican right wing on fiscal policy..

I think he is very critical of Obama and more lax on McCain too.

Since the likely hood of CNN hiring a republican is slim and none, I am going with Independent.

He is a Heretic, tilting at windmills for ratings and he hates evrybody.
