Everyone has a different sense of style. Which should always be respected, I've had piercings....and I have taken them out. I will probably get pierced again eventually. For me its all about changing things up...drastically and often.

They want to be different and they like it, people are not all the same, they don't all wear pink polos and sideways hats.

They just want people to have the "wow " factor.
they want to be cool and others to be impressed, but sometimess they accually want it...well beacuse they want it.
