"Spirit of fair play" at the Olympics.?

it's the committee's way of telling you something. like i don't know... You won a medal! Stop bitching!

Its unfortunate to feel like you were cheated in a way especially if you have trained your whole life for one event, but in any case you are representing your country and alot of people look up to you. To throw an olympic medal on the mat is poor taste and extremely bad sportsmanship.

Its disappointing that grown ups involved in a part of history would act like this and he deserves to reap the reprucussions for acting in such a childish way. Many times people get the unfair call or bad break it happens but unfortunately its just the way it is sometimes.

Also think of it this way, if it was him that got the call but if it happened in his favor would he still have threw down a medal because it was unfairly judged? No because he would have got the good side of the break, he just acted poorly and on a worldwide stage while representing his country.

Chill yer boots! Hypocrisy is everywhere. Anyway, there may be repercussions after the Games. Obviously the I.O.C don't want to rock the boat during the Games. Watch this space.

Very valid point you know what people are going to remember out of these Olympics they are Phelps,Bolt and they will vaguely remember the wrestler but sadly they will mostly remember all the whinging and moaning about the gymnasts and the sour grapes of losing to the Chinese.
