How can I get a job at Google?

My husband is a computer architect for Google and he has a bachelor's degree in Mathematics. He worked for a large computer company for years before Google contacted him for an interview, he never applied with Google. He is very well known in the computer industry and has developed a number of systems and has lots of patents under his belt.

Google is a very difficult company to get into - obviously. Google is 20 times more elite (harder to get into) than Harvard!

He would suggest you get a 4 year degree in computer science or similar. Also, it's really important to get to the top of your game, whatever field you're interested in, whether it's school or a place you're already working for. Have excellent references from employers/professors, and try to intern for a summer at a Google office. My husband has 2 interns right now, so if they like them, they'll have a better chance at getting a job when they graduate. Good luck... Google is definitely the best company to work for!
