Why did John Mccain say he disliked Justices Souter, Ginsburg, & Breyer, yet he voted for all them?
how come he didn't clear this up in the forum? and will independents hold this against mccain?
right, he was asked which Supreme Court Justice he would not have nominated. it's a fact, mccain voted for all three. very interesting.

Cause he has no chance of winning without the Evangelical Christian vote. Even though he's expressed contempt for the group throughout his lifelong career......he need to suck up to them now.
In other words....McCain is just saying what people want to hear. It's flip flop politics.

Did he vote for all of them??
WOW.
The question he was asked was: Who would you NOT vote for in the Supreme Court,....so if he did vote for them, that would be a big change of opinion.
EDIT: Yes, he did,..."McCain voted for the appointments of Justices Anthony M. Kennedy, David H. Souter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen G. Breyer. He did not vote on Justice's John Paul Stevens' appointment, which took place before McCain came to the Senate".

He included Justices Souter, Ginsberg, Breyer, & Stevens as the ones he would not have appointed.
You'll find their decisions most often are liberal.

No surprise, McCain often votes away from the needs of the public. Remember? He was one of the infamous Keating Five who created the savings & loan debacle that cost taxpayers $125 Billion.

Because the old dinosaur can't even remember what he had for lunch today. How do you expect an Alzheimer's patient to remember what happened or what he did more than a year ago?

Maybe these Justices got his vote but not necessarily his admiration for sticking to our Constitution. He wants Justices to follow our Constitution, not legislate from the bench. Did you listen to his reasons. Do not take words out of context, please.

Go to his website send him an e-mail and ask him. I'm sure you will get a response better than any you will get here.
