graphic designing requires a bunch algebra and geometry because your working with shapes and objects (just computerized) there is actually alot of math to be done when it comes to graphic design

Geometry is used all the time in graphic design as well as other designs. The easiest answer I can come up with , however, is in the package design area. You'll need to know the area of the label, box, or other printed media to fit around the product that your clients supply.
