Love

I am of young age, ever fresh and so unsure

Unsure of the sweet, succulent and irresistible fruit

that is love itself, bore in everyone

A fool such as I would just throw away my life

for a single piece of this fruit so sweet

I am but a child of little knowledge

But am I not free to choose, to follow my heart?

Alas, the world is cruel.

Its depths and mountains like walls so unbreakable

I have yet to see the dangers of the world

with the darkness and cruelty that envelopes me

O love, what destiny awaits this poor fool

I, the fool who has devoted myself to thee

The fool that shouts thy name to the world,

knowing I could be destroyed by this,

by the cold and cruel world where we all reside

Wickedness shall never leave

In every corner and in every street,

to the abyss of oceans and the peak of mountains,

like the blades and bullets that injure my fragile heart,

locked, thrown down and shattered into numerous pieces.

My life, my goal, and my love

'Tis true that I am a child

one of youth, if you will

but love, though unknown to me,

is greatest among all things

The love of my heart shining brightly upon all

like a beam of light flashed on to the world

Must I carry this burden?

Time, that does not cease to move

The time that is so patient,

it ignores those who desire to get ahead

This love of mine, like always, must wait much longer

I, the child, so full of love

yet once again, distraught.

One day, on one faithful day,

I will understand this love;

the one thing that I long for,

the one thing that I must have,

the one thing that is love
