drivers' ed question?

not the us mail van so the one with the sirens going so i gest all the fire truck the police and the ambulance

In New York State - If the ambulance and fire truck and police car are not on an emergency call then the same laws apply to them as any other vehicle on the road. A federal government vehicle usually has presidents over state and local government vehicles. Therefore, I'd say that if the ambulance and fire truck and police car are not on an emergency call then the mail van would have the right-of-way because it is a federal government vehicle.....but I am just guessing.

The USPS mail van is a government truck, as is all the other vehicles, yet if none of them are on an emergency call, it would be just likee 4 regular cars meeting. You just have to wait for someone to motion you to go, or vice versa.

EDIT: Assuming you are talking about they get there at the exact same time and none are on emergency calls. If it is a good cop, most EMS,ect. workers are nice, then they would let the Postal truck go, because that's the only one who has a constant job. Not just patrolling or whatever.

EDIT:There is NO order if they got there at the same time, it has nothing to do with there place in government, it has to do with typical driving, unless one of them has there sirens on, but good point by saying they probably are all going to the same call or place, because it's has very low probability for 3 different types of local government EMS and safety vehicles to meet like that. But it IS a question. lol

This sounds like a trick question. In all seriousness the person there first has the right away unless the ambulance, fire truck, or police car has their lights on then it changes.

I would say (in this order): Ambulance, Fire Truck, Police, than Mail van

Who's siren is on? If its the police car, the ambulance or the fire truck, then they have the right of way. The US mail van doesnt have the right of way...now if the sirens arent on, then neither of them have the right of way, they are just like average everyday vehicles. :]

I guess whoever got to there first..Unless the ambulance/fire truck/police car have their sirens on and are trying to get to an emergency.. then I'm not sure.

well the ambulance, fire truck,police car could all be going to the same place

ambulence, the ambulence arrives when ur sick or hurt and then the fire truck arrives a few min after the ambulence
