Whats the weather in Boston in October?
I'm having a wedding in october I was trying to plan a honeymoon that wasn't sooo gold. I though about the falls but, i guess its too cold in Oct. Then I thought about Boston.. Heck I dunno. I live in Indiana and we have like Thurs? Any suggestions?
I was just kinda thinking boston beacuse my future husband love the red sox! I know they wouldnt be playing at that time but, we could still tour the stadium.. We only are looking at oct 26-30 because I want to be home for halloween :)

October 26-30 is about 2 weeks late for the height of the foliage season in nearby Vermont and New Hampshire, (and one week to late forb the height of foliage in the Berkshires) which would be honeymoon perfect.
The Boston weather in late October is very similar to the weather in Indiana. If you must honeymoon then and wish to be near Boston consider getting a lovely B&B place on outer Cape Cod, which is surrounded at that time of year by the still (comparatively) warm ocean and miles of sand dunes without any crowds. Very romantic.

I never thought of Boston for a honeymoon...I would think more Florida or California......or Aruba. But that may be because I live here!!!
I would recommend the Berkshires (out in Western Mass) for that time of year. Mass is beautiful in Oct. It's cool but not cold. Usually not rainy. The foliage in western MA is beautiful. You can book a cute inn or B&B and go on hikes. Romantic and quiet.
You can always spend a few nights there and a few in the city if you wanted to do that. October is a beautiful time for a wedding and enjoying the fresh air.
EDIT: The Fenway tour is fun :) your husband will love it.
You could still do a few days in Western Ma and one or 2 in the city. Either way, you will have fun. Lots to do in Boston. Try to plan some stuff and get tix before you arrive so you dont miss out on anything you definitely want to do (like the Fenway tour)
It's about 3.5 hour ride from Berkshires-Boston.

Boston has a wealthy history and a diverse neighbourhood; it has a legacy of arts, tradition, and training; Boston has something for anyone so find what Boston may give you with hotelbye . The three-mile Freedom Trail brings you previous - and in to - 16 of the city's principal traditional monuments and sites. It's easy to check out, by the distinct red stones in the sidewalk and by footprints at street crossings. The trail will get you to Old Granary Burying Ground where Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, and John Hancock are buried; will take you to King's Chapel Burying Ground, the Boston's oldest cemetery; Old South Meeting House where in fact the ringing speeches of patriots spawned the Boston Tea Party and the Old State House, Boston's oldest public creating and the website of the Boston Massacre.

It is definitely variable.
Usually in the 60s for highs and 40s for lows, but it can get way up in the 70s at times (my friend's wedding was Nov 1st and it was HOT) and down to freezing at night other times.
The foliage outside the city can be beautiful.
It is actually a very good time to visit Boston, it wont be too hot or too cold to walk around outside and Boston is a great city for walking around. It is really a great town.

The weather here in October: variable
The average high is in the low 60's, the average low in the 40's. But you can get some very warm days and some very cold days in October. You could get lots of rain or it could be sunny the whole time. New Englanders are used to it. But in October, almost anything goes, weatherwise

It varies. But also it would be freezing for some people who come from warmer parts of the country. You never know here, there may even be some snow fall or it could be clear and warm.
