how long is the ovulation window?
how long do you ovulate? i know sperm can live for 2-3 days...how long is the egg good for?? my husband and i are TTC and just wanted to know! thanks!!!

Your egg, after being released, is only available for 12-24 hours for fertilization. The max is 24 hours, and sometimes the egg lives for as short as 6 hours. Have sex within the 3 days prior to ovulation, as well as the day of. Good luck in your TTC journey! Lots of baby dust for you!

Sperm can live inside the woman 3 to 5 days and the ovulation window is 12 to 24 hours....don't think about conceiving, just enjoy each other and have a good time every day several days before and during ovulation. Good Luck

24 hrs. So lotsa sex prior during and maybe after just to be sure and the more sperm you can get to the egg the better.
