i would suggest buying neon tetra's their pretty small and like to be in group of at least 5-7 their cool to watch! also there some danio fish which you can put along with the neon both are friendly. another bright colorful fish would be the guppy they are very colorful and are also friendly. these are the only fish that are known to be shiny unless buying some fish that really glow in the dark but as i know they are sold in japan only another option is buying marine fish and having a special light they will look great under it well thats all i got hope that i can help you good luck!! hey try these link

Neon tetra's are a shiny fish, but they only grow to be a around 2".
I like the Fancy Tail Guppies their colors are great and they give birth to live babies (You would need a place for the babies to hide or the parents will eat them).
Another beautiful Fish is a red tail black shark, they grow to about 3-4" (they are not man eating sharks)
Have fun with setting up the aquarium!

The kinds of fish you can get really are dependent on how big your tank is and whether it is heated or not. If you let me know these details, I'll help you choose some brightly coloured and shiny fish! Feel free to message me.

You could have a Koi put only in a pond(they would grow to big to quickly for a tank) They shine in pond lights and luck really nice. I of course am a big koi fan so that is probably why I would recommend them. Good luck fish hunting

you should get silver sharks, silver dollars, electric yellows or electric blues the silver sharks grow to about 12-13 inchs the silver dollars grow to around 8 inchs and the electric yellows and blues grow up to 3 inchs and they would all get along well in the same tank
