If I get #1 fantasy pick in a standard league, who should I go for?
LT, Adrian or other?
There's always a huge breakout player, and I might just go for a surprise pick...

LT is the safe bet, but you said you might go for a surprise pick. If your league includes points per catch and/or additional points for reception yards for running backs, you might consider taking Brian Westbrook with the #1 overall pick. Last season Westbrook had 90 catches for 771 yards and 5 receiving TDs compared to 60 catches for 475 yards and 1 TD receiving for Tomlinson.
Just something to keep in mind!

You dont pass up on L.T. believe me,he will keep you in good position if you have a supporting cast around him.If you take a chance at a hugh breakout player look for them between rounds 3/4/5.The first two picks are very important on how you do well.Faulter here and you might ruin the rest of your draft.

either 1 of those 2 will be the number 1 picks this year my self I would pick LT but tried to get his back up later in your draft. Same with Peterson

Stick with known producers. If you don't take LT you're crazy. He is the main option on a team that will score a lot. Peterson will be held back by a less dynamic offense.

There's room to debate the second pick (AP or Westbrook), but the first pick is unquestionably LT.
