Do you prefer watching TV or browsing the Internet and why?

I prefer the Internet because it is interactive and also there is a wider variety of things to do, read, watch, listen to, etc. I enjoy writing, like to penpals, and forums like this one. TV is completely passive, you just sit there and watch it, and I get bored. (I do love the occasional movie though.)

I have only recently really discovered YouTube. I knew it was there all along and occasionally saw something there, but the last few weeks I've been looking up all kinds of strange things just at random--just browsing as I used to do, and still do, with Google--just to see what I might find. There's some very bizarre and fascinating stuff there!

The two media are getting closer together every day, and I can foresee a time when all video content will be 'on demand' on the Internet. I was just thinking today that perhaps by the next Summer Olympics, all the events will be on the Internet and you will be able to watch whatever you like, even those events that are never covered on US TV. The only events we see here are those in which Americans are likely to win.

I tend to prefer using the internet as entertainment for playing video games with others online, watching the Olympics when I have time to see them versus having to see them whatever time they put them on the television.On the internet you have more control over what you want to see and when you want to see it too. I occasionally talk to my family using the Program called skype to talk to them and play online games at the same time. I also like to help people like yourself.;)

properly I choose surfing the internet! television is kinda boring, and would not have get right of entry to to the entire international, on an identical time as the internet does. additionally on the grounds that i like watching anime, in subs, not dubs, the only place the place i will discover subs is obviously the internet! and that i will additionally watch it every time!

INTERNET! Hands-down.

Because you can change flavors in a click, or tab from page to page in no time. Also you get that personal contact with people from forum sites, chat sites, and profile networking sites.

It's a lot more social than TV and a lot more interactive.
