Patented math equations?
Does anyone know if there has ever been a mathematical equation that was patented? Is this possible or not?

No, not in the U.S. anyway. Equations are not patentable subject matter.
What you could patent is a process or device that takes advantage of the equation.
You can't patent E=mC squared, but you can patent a reactor based on the equation.
