DOB IN DRUG DEALERS ????
my question is simple , if you have information on dealers
but it could potentially put you in harms way what should you do ????
I can find no reward system in place, not even in crimestoppers,
if we are serious about stopping these people there should be a reward
do you know of any ????

No, I don't know about rewards. If you are interested in stopping this activity however and not getting paid for it, find out about your local narcotics team and call. You can remain anonymous but should provide all of the information you can. Call your local law enforcement office and get a phone number where this information can be provided.

Usually there is no reward offered for "dobbing in" drug dealers... rewards would only be offered for major/serious violent crimes like homicide or armed robbery where the police have no leads. Of course if you report a crime and want a reward, you would have to provide your personal details when you call.
Many people do "dob in a dealer" but chose to do it because they want to protect their neighbourhood and not for a financial reward. I personally don't think a reward for dobbing in drug dealers would be very effective, it could waste many police resources and perhaps encourage criminals or other dealers to simply report their competitors to police and collect a reward. It may encourage a booming drug business.
Rewards need to match the seriousness of the crime and can only be approved by the highest levels in government. Might I also add that if you were considering dobbing in a drug dealer and believe it would put you in harms way, then you can ask police to remain annonymous, because no reward would be enough to save you.

. IF they have a warrant out for their arrest, you get the crimestoppers money. Go ahead an take a chance. Call the cops. There should be a reward- you are taking a big chance.
