what's a good sealant??

i cleaned my bikes carb and i want to know what's a good sealant to use for putting it back together. silicone is not the one obviously. it should be gasoline resistant. thanks to all the pros out there!!

    indian head shellac. it won,t leak with that stuff on.

    Permatex brand sealants are fantastic in automotive applications. They offer a wide variety of sealants to choose from. High heat to chemical resistant. You can find Permatex at any auto parts store at a reasonable price

    High heat RTV is what I'd use.
