Was anyone disappointed in the Dark Knight?
It was a good movie. I was expecting it to be a lot better. It had so much praise. When I saw it I thought it was an OK movie. I was disappointed because I didn't think it was as good as everyone says it was. Does anyone agree with me? Yes I do realize that I will get bashed for this.

I was a bit dissapointed as well. I didnt like the way batman spoke plus i think they wasted a good villain killing harvey two face in a brief and stupid way.

THANK YOU! I was disappointed by it. I expected something remarkable, but I found it to be what one would expect out of a fairly good, but not great superhero movie. The plot line was weaker than I thought it would be and so were the acting and effects. No offense to the late Mr. Ledger, but his mouth mannerisms as the Joker were interesting at first but later became distracting. I knew Harvey would become Two-face from the very beginning as soon as he flipped a coin, so I found that a little too much of a give-away. Also, the way he became evil almost reminded me of Anakin Skywalker in Episode 3. One minute he's freakin' Gandhi, and the next he's a psychopath. I thought it was a stretch.

I am a HUGE fan of TDK and believe it is the greatest comic book flick ever made!!! As for your opinion on the movie, alot of people feel it didn't live up to the hype but, as with everything, it is impossible to please everyone. The only downfall of the movie, in my opinion, was how long it was. Not meaning I didn't want to sit there for 3 hours because I didn't mind but I feel they took the plot too far in this movie. Let me clarify, I feel they should have ended the movie after revealing Two-Face, in order to leave the doors open for a sequel; as they did in Batman Begins with the Joker card at the end. While I understand Chris Nolan wanted to end the movie with Batman as the bad guy, as it was in the comics, the end of the film was all very anti-climactic, with the exception of the Joker's scenes because every scene the Joker was in was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! But how they killed off Two-Face and all that just brought the movie down from cinematic perfection. I felt there were several points in the film that should have been the end...but it was still a GREAT movie and is up there as one of my very favorite, if not my absolute favorite movies of all time!!
Anyone who bashes you for this is just immature and needs to accept the fact that everyone has their own opinion.

No, I liked it. Well the movie is too long to watch, 2.5 hours that was pretty painful for my ***. It's certainly not a typical superhero action movie and that's the reason why I liked it. It's haunting, puzzling, and the actors performances were outstanding. You can really see the characters struggle with moral dilemmas. Overall, The Dark Knight is, I think, the best movie of this summer, and maybe of this year, we'll see. And it's not for the kids.

It wasn't as good as I thought it would be after hearing everyone rave about it. It was at least 1/2 hour too long. I got bored toward the end and had a hard time paying attention.

This movie was hyped up so much. I thought it was going to be so good. But it was just ok. It isn't as great as everyone is making it to be.

The movie was epic.It wasn't the story of batman, it was the story of Gotham City.
And the joker was the in the 3 best villains of all times.
