Yamaha Neos 50cc Moped/hairdrier?

Hi guys, My first question is, like recalls on cars where the manufacturer contacts owners of certain models that have to be recalled to have certain safety mods done.

Is there a similar recall system running for motorcycles/ hairdryer like my sons.

second question concerns same hairdryer, centre stand spring lug snapped off engine/casing, does anyone know if this is a common fault and if yamaha has recalled neos's with that prob.

Yes there are recalls on motorcycles. I've had two recalls on one of my bikes. But because I was not the original owner, I did not know about the recalls until I had the bike at a dealer for some other work.

You should talk to a Yamaha dealer about the lug; both whether there was a recall and whether it is practical to weld it back on. Typically to weld aluminum, you'd have to dismantle the engine before you could weld on the case.
