how do i make the icons bigger on the front of the computer where the wallpaper would be?

it is windows XP.

    Right click on desktop -> view -> large icons, then:

    Right click on desktop -> appearance -> Effects -> check 'Use large icons'

    right click on desktop > View > Large Icons

    Or you can try a smaller screen resolution by going to control panel
