Are their any sports for the 2008 Olympics in which the United States is not represented?

I know that the US has the biggest team in the Beijing Olympics (behind China), as well as the most metals (so far). My question is this: Are their any sports/competitions in specific sports in the ongoing 2008 Olympics that the US does not have a team or individual competing in?

In response to the post above rhythmic gymnastics is still an Olympic event. It is taking place this Friday.

In response to the post above, I don't believe rhythmic gymnastics is an Olympic event anymore.

I believe it's just rhythmic gymnastics and handball if you count both genders.

    EDIT:

Rhythmic gymnastics hasn't started yet, but it's still an event.
