Vinegar will stop the little " detonators" in the tentacles from firing. It is, by far , the best treatment for jellyfish stings.

First saltwater to rinse it, as apparently freshwater makes it worse!
Then yep, wee wee helps! On Mythbusters a few months ago they did something with jellys and found Vodka works too!

White vinegar will help stop the pain..if you don't want to pee on yourself as the other posters have suggested.
