Best way to cover permanent hair dye accident?
A while ago I was stupid enough to try to dye my hair blonde. My natural colour is dark brown. Needless to say, it went horribly wrong and i ended up a weird shade of gingery/blonde. My hair's also in a pretty bad state, very dry.
Now I need to cover up the gingerness, which is best for my hair? A permanent brown on top or semi-permanent every few months?
Any advice appreciated!

Oh a semi permanent please... semi's are so gentle... they are deposit only color formulas... you can do them weekly if you wanted... get the one that says it's ammonia free... loreal, clairol, garnier are all good brands... first time round if you have a lot of hair get 2 boxes... you want to have ample product to be sure to not miss a spot... ASH or NATURAL in the colors name (medium ash brown/example) will clue you in to which color you will need to get tone down the gingery tone... I am assuming you mean really goldenish... one other thing is get one shade light than your natural... sometimes over processed hair will grab a color and go way darker than it is meant to go... get a medium brown... trust mme on this one.
hope this helped;-)))

Ask your vet. They should know what's safe for your cat but then I don't think they'd appreciate you putting hair dye on it in the first place, even if it was an accident. Maybe just let the fur grow out and fall off by itself? I mean, it IS permanent .. But if you have safe ways to get it out like washing it with soap, then why not try it? As long as there is no harm done. Or, maybe you could dye it white? xD

I would go for semi permanent, the chemicals are a little less harsh on your hair. I have jet black hair and tried to do the same thing for highlights. I colored over it with red. Also a color scrape would work too.

Just go to a salon and ask the to die it your natural hair color because they wont mess it up!they you just wait for it to grow out.that's what i did when i colored my hair black and it came out really bad cuz i missed a bunch of spots but i went to a salon and a lady fixed it for me and I'm letting all the dry hair grow out.

cough up the money and get it professionally fixed at a salon. If there is a beauty school in your area, it will be cheaper and you will have the benefit of the instructor and the stylist consulting with you and helping.

Make it grow out, or if you cant wait then die it the same shade you had it , so when your hair grows it will just blend in

Why don't you just cut it all off. Go Bald Dipshit. It'll grow back anyway, don't worry!
