video recording from camcorder to dvd recorder?
I have sony camcorder. It records on NTSC. I have a DVD Recorder with PAL recording. These two do not match. How I can record the NTSC format on My Pal DVD recorder to a DVD disc? Can anyone give suggestions please?
My DVD recorder record TV programmes to a ddvd disc directly from the tV as the programmes are all in PAL format.

the question is not so clear. anyway i think you can change the recording format in your camcorder, from ntsc to pal. or make the camcorder and the dvd at AUTO.

Use a computer to make an NTSC disk.
If you want to down convert ntsc to pal, there are complex procedures that require software with motion compensation and spacial algorithms of 5+ frames.
Teranex makes some hardware and software that does it nicely..
DVFilm also makes some really good software.....
If you use a pulldown method, like those in adobe premier or any other pro editing program then you will get jaggedy and choppy video....
