Track and Field season - when is it? ?
Hi, I'm wondering what season Track and Field events are usually held in, relative to a typical school year.
Would it be right around now when classes get back in session, while its still warm out? Or is it in the spring time? Towards the end of the year?
I have never paid attention in grammar / high school, and now I find myself wanting to join my University's track and field team ( for javelin), and would like to know when the season begins!
Thanks for answering my simple question, cheers!

Track and Field starts in the spring. Indoor track and field is in the winter I believe.

It usually starts right after basketball season ends. Somewhere around March or April.
