What ways have you found to save money?

I used to have a team of ten haitian boys to carry me around in a sedan chair; now I've cut it down to eight. And I use energy-efficient lightbulbs.

Ride a bicycle everywhere

Use energy efficient light bulbs

Switched to a Energy Star mini fridge

Stopped eating meat and most junk food, and carefully plan meals

Shop at Wal-Mart and warehouse-style grocery store

Stopped using air conditioner and heater

Buy very few things that I don't absolutely need

Stay a couple years behind on electronics and video games

Dropped television service

Got rid of cell phone and got the cheapest home-phone plan

Cut my own hair

Take short showers

Hang cloths out to dry on hot days

Traded electric oven/stove for gas one

Wait for cloths to go on clearance as the seasons change

Recycle

....

....

I steal cable. I have a long distance plan. I take transit to work. I only eat out once a week.

I generally don't plan to save money, I just do. I don't really need too but it is nice to cut costs.

For all the money I save, I just shop more! :)

No using alot of eletricity and watch how much i spend on shopping, lots of things

consolidating trips and buying in bulk.

From not spending it.

I like giving my money to my family :)

I don't need to get or save money,I just ask my parents for it and I get it.
