craftman lawn mower?
every time i pull start it the rope pulls back n stalls any help????

The rope should pull back. You must also continue to hold the safety bar close to the push handle, let it go and it will stop. Sounds like it is working properly. Your first new mower in a long and you failed to read "how to start" you mower.

It sounds to me like the ignition timing is off. Did you recently hit something with the blades? When this happens the key between the crankshaft and the flywheel shears. This causes the ignition timing to be off. Sometimes the engine will try to start but it also may try to pull the rope out of your hand. The fix is to remove the engine cowling and the flywheel nut. Check to see if the key ways are aligned, if not you will have to pull the flywheel and replace the key.

Theres a big spring is wore or you need to tighten the robe down.... If its the string sticking if not clean the plugs poor coke on the end and it will clean it
