replacement cellphone?
I have very old basic cell phone that doesn't hold charge too long, so time to replace. My contract with verizon is up (pay month to month) and don't want to get locked in to another contract, just want to replace with an inexpensive but decent basic cellphone. Any recommendations on what to get or where to get it. Want to keep my out of area number also and don't want the high pressure sales pitch in the stores

Ok first you can buy a phone offline straight out......but you will pay out the nose for it...... and you will still have to pay a 36 dollar activation fee through verizon.....you will be able to keep your number this way and you will be on your "month-to-Month".......If the people at the verizon store know what they are doing......then you can go to walmart buy a prepay verizon phone and take it to them and request that your number from your old phone be ported over to the new prepay phone (just dont tell them it is a prepay phone unless they dirrectly ask you! going the first way you are loooking at paying upwards from $169.99 going the prepay raute from walmart you wont spend more than $80.00 so i hope this helps if you have any questions feel free to email me at Jordanbanther_george@yahoo.com! thanks!

attempt to take the cellular telephone aside as much as you could (battery and battery conceal, and SIM). positioned each and all of the factors in a bowl of uncooked dry rice and pass away it in for a week. while you're eligible for an improve there are some loose at&t telephones with a settlement.

A great, simple cell phone is the LG 6200. Have a look here:
