My niece got dye from a blouse on a leather purse how can I get it off for her?
It is a white leather purse, and some kind of dark colored dye is on it. Can it be cleaned at home without damage?

A similar situation happened to me when I used a white leather purse and somehow got a red stain on the bag. What I used was Meguiars Leather Cleaner (you can find this at any Pep Boys, KMart, Walmart, auto store) and I just followed the directions and the stain came out easily. The container was around $4 but see if the auto store has a trial size of this cleaner.
I have never tried this but maybe the Mr. Clean magic erasers can possibly work too.
