1989 camaro wont crank need help????????????

i have an 89 camaro RS 2.8L V6, it has new starter, distributor, cap and rotor, plugs and plug wires, gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump, fuel filter and lines. it sat up for 8 years and i bought it back in april because it was my moms car before she died, and its sat in the woods since 2000. its turning over and getting fire, its got fuel pressure and the timing is right, it turns over and tries to start and blows out white smoke but it just wont start up.i cant think of what it could be.

Update:

ITS TRIES TO CRANK ON STARTER FLUID but wont. how do you bleed air out of the injectors?

How did you verify the fuel pressure? Did you use a fuel pressure gage? Perhaps its a bad regulator. Is the timing set correctly? Is it 180 out? Do you have the plugs and wires installed correctly?

How about a compression test? And a cylinder leakage test?

    A few places to start.

I don't think you have air in the injectors.....it's more than likely old gas that has turned to varnish in them....that is what has them clogged. Pull the injectors...soak good and clean them out.

Instead of using starter fluid.....pour about 2 oz of gas down the intake. It should fire up and run for 5-10 seconds...then you'll know your injectors are fouled.

what is the condition of the gas in the tank. sat for 8 years. has to b pretty bad .

is your timing 180 out ? you can set timing and it still can be wrong . It has to fire on the compression stroke.set your timing one your #1 cylender on top dead center , and pull your cap if its not pointing at the #1 plug wire your timing is off.spark fue and compression and timing equal fire.
