SPSS 16.0 Student Version?
I just bought the SPSS 16.0 for school and noticed that it is for "Windows XP or Vista". I have Windows 2000 Professional, will the software still work with my Windows 2000?
I don't want to buy XP just for this and do not want Vista, I'm happy with what I have. Thank you!

There is incredibly good chances that it will not work... because a lot of dll (for examples) are different, may not be there at all and all that, so it may cause the installer to misinstall some of his files etc.
Sorry.

Hi Sasha,
Even if it does "work", you will find that it works for about 2 weeks, then it'll stop working and pop up a message saying that you need to pay SPSS a lot of money; if you pay that money, then it'll work for another 6 months then stop.
Why don't you try PSPP? It doesn't do everything that SPSS can, but it looks and feels the same, accepts the same data and syntax, and the best bit is, that it's Free!
