My pics come through very large.?

Whenever I attach and e-mail pics from my laptop (ones I have downloaded from my camera) several recipients claim they come through huge and they have to scroll to see them. What can I do to get them down to a size that is better for e-mailing?

    Here is a free on line photo resizer i have used it and found it easy to use and offering a good free service. no software download needed.
