Gabe - that is the exact oppisite of what i asked. I am not promoting fantasia games as performance art, i am promoting the idea, of making a game out of performing!

I don't see why not. You are pretty much improvising the characters in an RPG. You can argue dungeons and dragons is a performing art.
It isn't considered an art because it's pop culture. Pop culture has a lot of great art, i don't care what high brow accademic types think!
