am i 16 weeks now? I am very confused.?

Today is Wednesday August 27th 2008.

Hey, your practically in my boat! My last period was May 7th & my due date is Feb 11th. I went to the doctors July 29th & she said it looked like I was 11weeks & 6 days. Then after seeing & measuring the baby on the ultrasound she said it looked like I was more like 11 weeks flat. So, I just go by what she says but I think it changes so much b/c they try to go by the baby & some babies just grow at different rates. It is confusing! I think they should just stick with last menstrual. The predictor websites will tell you your 16 weeks, I wonder why 2 diff doc said that tho....hmmm? That seems very confusing when doctors are telling you 2 diff dates! Well, supposedly I was 15 weeks yesterday & originally this should of been my 16th week. I go to the doctor tomorrow, so I'll see & hopefully 1 of the doctors could give you more clear of an answer! Good Luck!

Some doctors count the week that you concieved others do not so actually you are in your 16th week of pregnany or gestation if you want to get technical. I am 36 weeks pregnant by docs standards but in my 37 week of gestation. go to the babyzone.com and enter your babys due date fill out all the information and they will email you weekly news letters to inform you what week you are in and how big your baby is and what you should know. Trying it yourself is a headache use the day the first doc gave you ex Sept 21 and go from there.

For now I would look up a pregnancy calender online- I like the one at parent center.com. Go by that til the doc gives you an ultrasound.

register on babycenter.com...you get updates of how your baby is developing...how far you are...you'll get newsletters with great information...hope this helps

I would go with whatever your doctor tells you.
