There's so much to do in both places and in between and it depends on your tastes and if you are with children or not. Highlights in Austin include the State Capitol and attending one of the many local music festivals or events. In between San Antonio and Austin are some great attractions. New Braunfels has a water park called Schlitterbahn, which is the largest water park in the country. In Austin, you'd probably want to stay closer to South Austin near the I35 and Ben White interchange. There are many hotels there and it gives you easy access to downtown as well as putting you closer to New Braunfels.

In San Antonio the place to be is downtown where you can stroll along the Riverwalk, visit the Alamo (don't plan too much time for this), ride to the top of the Tower of Americas for a birds-eye view of the city, take in a show at the historic Majestic Theater, or be entertained by the nightlife. If theme parks are your thing, there are Fiesta Texas and Sea World, both of which offer a full day's entertainment. Places to stay include the Marriott Riverwalk or the downtown La Quinta Inn and Suites depending on your budget. If you're looking for a unique hotel with a great atmosphere, try the Hotel Valencia. Austin is eye-catching and has extra technical industries. a lot of my pals have moved to Austin, and one reason is because it really is contained in the Bible Belt. For some it truly is incomprehensible, yet in case you recommend to reinforce youngsters the guidance is a lot above common. Christian ethics is something many father and mom favor thier youngsters envolved in, no longer foul language, punking out, doing drugs and piercing all of your outdoors body aspects. So it really is extra for conservative Republican Christians as a demographic. as a results of terrain, steep cliffs on the west part above the river it receives hit by fewer tornadoes than the flat Texas plains or say Oklahoma.
