shaun wright philips back in man city squad..?

good move for him?

I think so! He was not getting enough games at chelsea and before he moved there he was a good enough player, although,it may have been a case of him playing in an average team before he moved to chelsea where he was found lacking!

Brilliant move for him. Shaun needs to be loved and given licence to play. He has gone back there after 3 years at Chelsea where I am sure he has learned alot from the world class talent they have there. I have no doubts he has returned to Manchester City twice the player he was when he left. Whenever he was given a chance at Chelsea he looked great and his crossing and general all-round play are much much better.

Also when he left Manchester City they were going nowhere(let's face it!!) But now they are one of the most exciting teams in the league with lots of potential, world class players and manager aswell as a wealthy(all be it corrupt!!)chairman.

This is more than a return to an old club, It's about Shaun going to a club with massive ambition and huge potential where he can be a big part of it.

it's a good move for him but personally he shld hav made this decision long ago. Begin a bit player for the past few seasons has left his international career on a big gap. City on the other were desperate for new players, so i guess they pounce on the chance to bring him back. Sometimes, i find it weird for players to come back to the club after saying i wanted to leave. the loyalty n faith of supporters is hard to win back. never the less, he made the gd choice!

yeah good move because he will now get 1st team football, a team that he is comfortable with and a team thats got a chance over the years to break into that top 4.

Ah the hearsay treadmill lower back and it ain't even circulate open season... you're able to write a protracted record of meant gamers who placed on the sacred Blue shirt who're set to bypass away guy city! whilst he's performed out of place in significant midfield then there's no reason for him to placed on the Blue shirt....

He's a good player who deserved first team football, he just went where he thought the grass was greener, like sidwell!
