Who, do you dislike, aka listening to Joe Average voter on CNN?

I was talking to an old classmate last week, a priest actually, and he was saying that Obama presented a quandary for the U.S. bishops, because he is right on all the social justice issues except for abortion. I pointed out that he was talking about one, single issue, on which McCain's record is not all that reassuring either. I also pointed out that allowing is not the same as doing and that abortions will happen whether legal or not, that legislation will not be more effective than education. Despite all this, he responded that one bishop has urged Catholics to pray that Obama will change his mind. Sheesh!

Closer to the topic, I just read an article about Cardinal John Henry Newman. He's been dead for some time, buried in a small cemetery. In anticipation of his pending sainthood, the Vatican intends to move his bones to a marble sarcophagus in the oratory church, in order to provide a more honorable and convenient place for pilgrims to visit them. Only it seems the real reason for moving them is much more embarrassing:

There are times when I'm ready to give up on this church. And I may just break down and vote for Nader this time. With Biden on board, it's becoming clear that Barak is not all that wedded to change anyway, despite the hopeful front. I could see his troop withdrawal, and economic & healthcare reforms, taking ten years or more.

HI Jane! I think you should still pick the best answer for your questions. For mine I try and pick evenly between contact and new folks. I'm weird and made a excel sheet with everyone's name and I put down when I pick that person. As I have more and more people answering it might get harder and hard to keep doing it that way. I also just added to it those who answered when there birthdays are. When I first started I didn't know about picking the best answer and a troll got lots of points off me! Also I have so many other stations trivia being answered I feel I can't pick best answer from the only station I do. So far it is working okay?! I hope as no one has complained to me yet. I think you should be able to vote for best answer? try it once. With the thumbs down I think only the person asking the question should be able to use that button. I try really hard not to hate anyone. Being hateful doesn't solve anything. As for disliking someone - specifically in the political arena - I would say I dislike Donald Rumsfeld. The man just seems evil to me.

Sounds about like a typical christian attitude to me . Nice to know how much love they have in their little hearts isn't it ? I expect you will see a lot of nonsense about her not being a true Christian and I bet a lot of those are just like her .

Personally I despise all party politicians because they LIE and are only in it for the ability to loot the public . We need all independents in DC .

I don't hate Obama, or McCain, or any other politician (though I wouldn't give Bush the time of day.) That would be a frivolous waste of energy.
