Do atheists really know it all?

It always seems that atheists are more likely to answer most questions around here. Also it usually looks like the crap questions get answered the most (let's see if this is a crap question). Lastly, tell me your secret for always managing to be the first person to answer.

Update:

Well this can't be such a crap question, I was hoping to hit the 30 mark on responses. Wow and everyone answered so gracefully.

“There will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth.”—2 Timothy 4:3, 4.

The senseless one has said in his heart:

    “There is no Jehovah.”

They have acted ruinously, they have acted detestably in [their] dealing.

There is no one doing good.-psalm 14:1

“Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding. In all your ways take notice of him, and he himself will make your paths straight. Do not become wise in your own eyes.” (Proverbs 3:5-7)

No, I don't know it all. I never claimed to.

And I still want to know what lies behind the stone door in the Paths of the Dead, though I never will.

And I take too long thinking, and type too slowly, to appear at the top of the answer list: except to *very* odd questions that are only ever going to get perhaps three replies.

Science has shown atheists have a higher intelligence than people with a strong religious faith. The difference is 5.8 points according to findings in developmental psychology!!!

More members of the "intellectual elite" considered themselves atheists than the national average.

Only 7 percent of members of the American National Academy of Sciences believed in God. Whilst only 3.3 percent believed in God in the UK’s Royal Society.

Several Gallup poll studies of the general population have shown that those with higher IQ’s tend not to believe in God."

Evolution in action with Christians getting left behind like the monkeys and apes before them!!!

No. Atheists don't know everything. Unlike some people, which are 100% sure that their god exists despite lack of evidence.

Note: A collection of questionably translated and edited versions of desert writings which contains, among others, stories of talking snakes, magic knowledge trees and people turning into salt - are not proof.

Unlike the opposition, atheists don't claim to know everything. However, atheists do seem to be overall better educated, more intelligent and better read and informed. The crap questions are the most fun. There's nothing more enpowering than picking on an idiot who doesn't know his own limitations

Peanut butter is the secret and I'm not an Atheist. It also helps to dab a little peanut butter behind the ears to pick up women!

No, never claimed to know it all. In fact, certainty is usually something that believers try to cling to. The whole glorious point of atheism is you *don't* know unless you have evidence. Believers think they *know* that god did it so there's no incentive to ask any more questions.

I'm keen to find out as much as I can. And I have a good education, and an open mind

As for being first, dunno - quick thinking and even quicker typing, maybe?

We don't have to go to a site to copy and paste bible references that we have read and feel holds no support to prove or disprove the actual existence of god. Oh and this is a crappy question so I hope i'm the last poster.

  • I don't know it all and that's why I answer these questions. If I'm wrong, I want to know about it so I can correct my position. It just takes a little courage to stick your neck out there.

No. Nobody knows it all. Anybody who claims to is a liar.

Have a great day, off to work.
