can you link with emulators? help with gba emulator?

just wondering if its possible to link computers somehow to trade pokemon. We both play pokemon on our computers through emulators and we wanna know if its possible to trade on computers

    Nope, not possible. You need the actual game to do that.

    Interesting concept. It cannot be done as far as I know but Im sure it will be made possible one day as Pokemon is a popular game in the emulation world.

    No sorry you can't. I tried it. The emulator is only for GBA.

    there is one way, but i dont know if it will work for pokemon.

    but there is a GBA emulator that allows u to emulate several GBA's at once and connect them. it works with legend of zelda 4 swords. just ask your friend to put his save file on a USB flash drive and bring it over and try it out.
