Do you know any good books?
Hello,
I was wondering if there were any good, fiction books, taking place in the Pacific Rim (surrounding Pacific Ocean) besides the United States, for a middle school student?
Thanks!
Are these books from United States?

I am afraid that I cannot help you as much as I would like to be able to, but since your other answers are so wide of the mark I feel obligated to try to give you some information. This site, while not focusing on YA books, might still give you some information and leads on books that would be useful to you.

The next site is related to the previous one, but supplies contact info. Perhaps someone there is familiar with a book list that is appropriate for the age range you are seeking.

And just because I love it I'm going to mention Island of the Blue Dolphins, by Scott O'Dell, even though it is set on an island off the California coast, and you're probably already familiar with it. It's such a great book!
Anyway, good luck on your search, I hope this was even a little bit helpful to you.

Well, the Mediator Series by Meg Cabot are good books for teens. I enjoyed them and read them in middle school (and they take place in California!!)
