What has Obama actually done to show he can be bring CHANGE to leading a government?
Energizing supporters and performing an average job as a Senator - not really standing out from other Senators and voting along Democrat lines consistently DOESN'T show me he can actually implement change.
Am I missing something maybe?

I agree...unfortunately, I don't think change is going to show it's head any time soon, regardless of who is in office. Sad, isn't it?

Im sure hes learned to tie his own shoes and socks by now dont you think? Ohhh and he did change his mind on the Rev Wright and Tony Rezco didnt he? He did change one of his votes from a ya to a nay or was it the other way around? So ya i guess my last sentence shows that Mr Obama can change things in Government if he can change his vote he can change anything cant he?

I've asked this same question on Yahoo Answers before. Good luck getting an answer. I think your perspective is appropriate... he's been an average Senator. His speaking and motivation skills haven't resulted in change in the political arena... other than him attracting voters.
I'd like to SEE change... and not just hear about it.
